“Mind Traveler” documentary

Ever since my father passed away in 1995 I have wanted to make a documentary about his life and work. In 2003 I teamed up with Wouter Bosman, a filmmaker from Amsterdam, worked out a script but the film was never made. Years went by, many more where interested but not until Greg Mallozzi came along did anything happen. He is a young film maker with a lot of experience and very dedicated to making this documentary.  I entrusted him with it because his interest is genuine and so is his personality.

Greg and I teamed up and one of the first interviews we did was with Uri Geller in Israel. We were joined by Magnus Skatvold from Norway, Greg’s friend for camera work, and he and his company, ‘Spaett Film’ have been very supportive throughout the project. They sent us Øyvinn Haugrud Kastnes, a great cameraman for the interviews in the US, who made sure we got great footage.

I preserved the vast amount of 8 and 16 mm films, photo’s, slides and documents my father had made throughout his life and Greg has been collecting all kinds of other amazing archival material. Greg continues to work on the documentary and teamed up with 1091 Pictures. The documentary should be finished in 2023.
